SOL Social Studies: 2.5 Make a Map: Project Letter and Rubric
• This is a project letter that describes project details and what is to be included on the chosen map
• Each student will use resources and creative materials to produce a map of either the United States or of the World
•Students will be required to include details or labels of mountain chains, rivers, continents or oceans
•Students will include map elements; such as, title, compass, map key and symbols
