Description

Begin the year teaching your students about the big ideas/domains of social studies. This unit includes 6 thirty minute lessons. Directions for each day is included. Students will work in five small groups to complete their own research on their assigned domain. Websites are included as resources. Students will create a poster that clearly explains what their domain includes. A rubric is included so students will understand the clear expectations of the poster they will create after completing their research. This activity goes hand in hand with the Leader in Me as well as being aligned with ELA and Social Studies standards.
