Do your kids struggle with conversations? Want to prepare them for coversations and social situations they may experience over their winter break? These Winter Break/Christmas Social Skills Task Cards have 64 task cards that will help your students practice how to enter and maintain conversations dealing with Christmas, New Years, holidays and winter break, problem solve difficult situations that might arise, practice body language and wording of answers for situations, and talk about what they do and love about winter break and the holidays.

●●● Students can really struggle with knowing what to say and do in tough situations, and these social skills cards can help walk them through it.

▶▶There are four types of cards included:

✅ Break Talk-- general conversation starters about winter break. Use as an icebreaker or warm up to get students thinking about theirupcoming winter break.

✅ Break Trouble-- problem solving situational cards. Students must use their reasoning skills to think about what they should do if they were in the situation presented.

✅ Winter Act—These are also great for problem solving but also take account for a person’s body language as part of the response.

✅ Winter Topics— Have 2 people work on a back and forth conversation using the conversation

starter.
