Description

Teach your middle and high school students the valuable social rules, skills and aspects of sportsmanship involved in playing indoor and outdoor games or athletics. You will receive a pdf and a digitalized version on TPT's easel.

Here is what's included:

  • A social narrative with real photographs and depictions of multiple skin tones, (it is narrated in EASEL),
  • Three links to YouTube clips about sportsmanship/social skills that are previewed for you in the packet, (the links are active in EASEL for easy navigation between youtube and activities),
  • Tiered activities that accompany two of the three YouTube clips,
  • Four pages of a "self-check" that can be used after playing a game,
  • Character traits involved in sportsmanship activity, "who do you want on your team?"
  • Dissect sportsmanship quotes from famous athletes,
  • Walk in their cleats: perspective-taking activity,
  • From poor sport to good sport: change the message activity,
  • Trash talker and sore loser: comprehension and inference activities for each,
  • 11 pages of visuals/mini posters on rules of sportsmanship.
