What educators are saying

I teach Depth and Complexity throughout the year. I love this as a way to introduce the icons through a topic all the students enjoy at the beginning of the year.
I used this resource with my 5th grade gifted students at the end of the school year. The activities brought about great discussions about the topics. We were able to uncover many misconceptions students had developed about this very important & timely topic.

Description

Teach your students how to be digital citizens using the prompts of Depth and Complexity and Content Imperatives! This bundle offers Depth & Complexity frames, thought provoking games, and engaging activities all about social media, digital citizenship, and the internet! Students will have the chance to write, collaborate with others, share opinions, create a website and blog about it (on paper), and participate in many other activities.

Never used Depth and Complexity icons or frames in your classroom? No problem! None of your students are identified as GATE? Still not a problem! This packet is for all students and detailed directions are included for each page. I’ve used frames and the prompts of Depth and Complexity with all of my students (GATE or not), and they really enjoy it!

This bundle includes:

+ 1 Depth and Complexity Note Taking Organizer
+3 different frames featuring Depth and Complexity (new icons included) and the Content Imperatives
+3 Frames (same as above) which include cooperative learning structures built in: Keep students engaged in a team dynamic as they learn to work together.
