Description

Students and teachers love snow days, but do your students understand what snow is, how it forms, and what snowflakes look like? This lesson is perfect before holiday breaks, as science sub plans, or to complement a weather unit to teach students to use specific digital links to research and learn about the winter weather and snow. In addition, they will learn about 8 different types of snowflakes and how they form, different types of winter storms, and how to stay safe in the snow.
