Welcome to the wonderful world of Gastropods (SNAILS).....I know "yuck"!!! But really snails are incredible little creatures that get a bad rap just for being slow, well…and eating the garden!
In this 3-4 day unit, you get the slide show for PowerPoint or Keynote, Teacher Notes, and all of the handouts. You supply the snails and materials for the "events", which should be no more than $20 at the Dollar Store. And the materials can be used over and over!
The unit is best if done over 4 days, but it can be done in two or three. I have done this unit in 2nd, 4th, 5th and 7th, so it is pretty much for any grade. I just expect more from the older kids.
