SmartBoard Letter Sound Sort: What Begins With... ? A-Z

This 28 page file for the SmartBoard has one letter sound page for each letter of the alphabet. It contains over 200 objects to sort from A-Z. This is great interactive way for students to practice letter sounds. It can be used at Group Time or in Literacy Stations. It also has a self check component so students can play on their own during Station Time. Students just drag objects that start with the focus letter onto the center object that starts with that letter. If the object does not start with the focus letter there is an X under it so students know that object starts with a different letter sound. My class loves to do these letter sorts and I think it has really strengthened their knowledge of phonics.
