Description

Sleeping Bags Art Project Inspired by Gustav Klimt is a ready-to-use authentic art lesson made for busy teachers and parents with elementary age or middle school students.

Learning Objective: Students will be able to draw a better face using correct spatial proportions.

Why I Love this Project: This project allows students the opportunity to focus on drawing ONE part of the body (the face) while still being able to finish a complete art project!

Grade Levels: 4th grade and up

Included: 18-page editable slide presentation, 4-page face drawing packet (hair, eye, nose, and mouth ideas), and sleeping bag drawing guide marks on 4 different sizes of paper so that setting up students' paper is quick and simple! (8.5" by 11", 9" by 12", 12" by 18", 11" by 17")

Slide Presentation:

  • Quick and simple biography of Gustav Klimt
  • Example of his art with close-ups of his patterns
  • Illustrated step-by-step art lesson for Slumber Party Sleeping Bags
  • Completely editable presentation with teacher tips in the "speaker notes"
  • Alternative and extra slides

If you need an art lesson with little to no prep, this is it!

As always,

Happy Creating!
