Skip Counting by 5s

A gradual process that enables students to think about skip counting in multiple ways. I use this activity in small group with my students. This resource is written in a way that communicates the step by step process. A teacher, teacher assistant, or a student teacher are able to read through the script and look at the models to have a clear picture on how to execute this strategy. After just one use I have seen drastic results! An ELL student of mine was able to count by 5s after just one use in small group with my teacher assistant!
