Learning the multiples of a number is a great way to help students master their multiplication facts. Once they can skip count fluently, basic multiplication is much easier.
This activity is a great way to help your students learn to skip count from 2's to 10's. With a single click, the first 12 multiples of each digit appear on a hundreds chart and then in a list. It's designed to help students learn to count by the numbers 2 through 10.
There are two speeds that this happens. Students can learn the multiples and then increase their speed reciting them.
This activity is designed to be used in a whole group or small group lesson. It allows students to see patterns within the multiples of the digits. You can practice one digit daily until students have mastered their multiples. You can also include the activity as practice in a math station or as independent work. It's like flashcards, but better!
