Open the preview to take a closer look.
Day 1 - Teach a very simple practice for all singular nouns: just add an apostrophe and then an s. Let kids practice with individual nouns and then apply it to phrases.
Day 2 - Continue with plurals. What's the key? Write the word first. If it ends in s, simply add an apostrophe. If it doesn't end in s, add an apostrophe and an s. The important thing is to remember that everything is added after the original noun.
Day 3 - Drive it home with mixed practice. Work individually with students with misconceptions.
Day 4 - Lighten up a bit with the color-and-do booklet. Kids have fun while reinforcing skills.
Day 5 - Assess.
