Simulated Conversazione - Vita adolescenziale

I start working on Simulated Conversation with lower levels, even level 2 or 3, to prepare students for AP Simulated Conversation.

This covers the Vita Adolescenziale unit with personal hobbies, use of technology, activities to relax that I cover during this unit. I created a pre-vocabulary activity to help student prepare for this task as well with fill in the blank and translation.

This conversation has 6 questions with the script, for students with accommodations, introduction and preview, audio with simulated conversation and beeps with 20 seconds to respond for each questions, and directions in English. I also attached the list of cultural expressions and useful fillers vocabulary that students could use and a chart I use with my students when I work with simulated conversations. I believe it's important to expose them sooner than later to both lists so that they have more time to get familiar with them.

This is a great way for students to practice their communication skills, using cultural expressions, and getting students more familiar with the AP exam tasks.
