Machines and the Forces Moving Them is a comprehensive SmartBoard Notebook presentation of the second grade science text covering simple machines (levers and ramps). The presentation includes information and vocabulary (force, gravity, friction, simple machine, lever, fulcrum, and ramp). It also includes 3 SmartBoard activities (Identify the Fulcrum, Ramp or Lever, and Move the Fulcrum) Each can be printed out as well for classwork or homework.as the three slides are on white background (to save ink). The presentation correlates with the Virginia Science Standards of Learning.
