Are you teaching your Chinese learners how to build a sentence in traditional Chinese? This resource provides you with various activities related to Chinese grammar, vocabulary, conjunction words, sentence structure, and parts of speech that will help your students understand different "building blocks" for writing complete sentences in Chinese.

These activities, worksheets, and cards will help your Chinese learners at different levels to learn and practice putting words or phrases together to form complete sentences. Students will also have opportunities to read, trace, and write the sentences. We created 3 levels of differentiated materials to tailor the needs of students at the beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels.

⭐For Beginners:

Students will use color-coded cards to help them understand sentence structure and they will build complete sentences with the cards.

⭐Intermediate Level:

Students will read and trace the sentences, and they will cut and paste different parts of speech to build the sentences. They will also show their understanding by drawing the meaning of each sentence.

⭐Advanced Level:

Students will read the sample sentence and use the same sentence structure or conjunction words to write their own sentences. A word bank will be provided for each page.
