Description
Students will use google forms to guide them along the Silk Road. Students will choose their country of origin (either China, India, or Europe) and will choose their main export (options vary but include silk, furs, iron tools, spices, etc.). After this, they will choose which route they will take to their final destination. Along the way, travelers will run in to obstacles typically encountered along the Silk road including bandits, the plague, a Buddhist monk trying to spread his religion, rough seas, wild animals, geographical problems). Students will have to restart as they encounter a problem and will have to continue trying again until they successfully trade their export! This is a great way to review or introduce the Silk Road and it is fun for all!
