Silent Letter Activities {gh, gn, kn, mb, and wr}

**Important: This product is designed to be used for older students who still struggle with the silent letter combinations: gh, mb, kn, wr, and gn or for advanced younger readers. Please download the preview for a free look at the level of reading required in these activities.

-A nine page illustrated decodable book called “The Sign Designers”
-The same text appears without the illustrations in the 2nd version in case you want your students to read without picture clues and illustrate the text themselves.
-A 10 question sentence/short answer comprehension test on “The Sign Designers”
-A Silent Letter center that can be adapted to be a reading or a spelling center
-"The Bomb Squad" decoding game for small groups or a center game
