What educators are saying
I gave this assignment to my grade 10 history students during our 1920s unit - they had so much fun!
So. Much. Fun! We're wrapping up our 1920s unit, and the kids loved making their own silent films. I had them draw an era that we've covered in class, and their group had to make their film about that. Besides being fun, it was a great review for the year.
Description
This is one of my very favorite projects to do. During my Jazz Age (1920s) unit, I have students create their own silent films after we watch a handful of clips of Charlie Chaplin.
