Significant Figures Task Cards

Move away from the traditional multiple question worksheets and engage students in learning and/or reviewing by using the Significant Figures Task Cards. Grades 8-12 – level will vary depending on region. Depending on the level of the class and/or curriculum, significant figures may be taught at earlier grades.

- 63 Cards and answer key included.
- Chemistry or Physics students may work individually or in groups.
- Not all the cards need to utilized or solved. The teacher may give a group of four students a set and request that each student or group work through a certain number.
- Additionally, the teacher may have the students play Quiz-Quiz-Trade after problems have been solved.
- The teacher may print student copies for use as a study aide.

-A student answer sheet is not included. Teachers may generate one on their own (if they are mixing up cards) and/or have students write responses in their science notebooks.
