Your students can use the Sight Word Spinners to practice their sight words at home, school, during word work, as a literacy center, during morning work…there are so many ways to use them! They make great alternative sight word flashcards because they are so fun and engaging! Each page of the Sight Word Spinner pack directly correlates to the word lists within my Sight Word Assessment & Word List pack! This pack covers the first 500 Fry Sight Words, making this pack ideal for a wide span of grade levels and learners. Once students master the words on the first spinner, the child can move on to the next spinner. The pack can be differentiated for your whole class, by starting struggling readers on a lower level of sight words, and more advanced readers on a higher level. There are so many possibilities!
My Sight Word Assessment & Word List pack is a must-have for classroom teachers who are looking for a student-friendly sight word tracking and assessment system. Students will practice identifying and reading Fry’s first 500 high frequency words. Each set of words contains a simple, no-fuss assessment sheet. As the students master each set of words, they will color in their game board to keep track of their progress. When they get to the finish line, the students can collect a certificate to celebrate their sight word success! Then, the student grabs the next set of words! Students can work at their own individual pace, or, teachers can use the program weekly as a whole class. Teachers can also keep track of student progress using the editable class tracking pages.
The pack also contains an EDITABLE word list template and an EDITABLE assessment template for teachers who wish to type their own words for students to study and practice reading!
