This RF.K.3.c Sight and Heart Words kindergarten unit is full of standards-based lesson plans, worksheets, and grammar centers. It is used to practice reading high-frequency words. It is aligned with Science of Reading. Each sight word comes with a lesson plan and hands-on activities. You can pick and choose the words you want to use, or follow along and use them all!
This Kindergarten ELA resource is a unit to teach the standard RF.K.3.c, which is all about teaching a kindergarten student to recognize high-frequency words by sight. 16 sight word (phonetically spelled) and 34 Heart words are now included!
This unit is different from the other RF units within the domain. Instead of a week-long lesson plan, it comes with 4 activities for 50 common sight words chosen. These can be plugged into how you teach your own sight word activities. Then, there are review worksheets and centers to help your students review sight words throughout the year.
