Your students will have so much fun learning with this editable game Connect 4!
To use, simply type in any 42 sight words onto page 1. As you type, all 42 words will randomly auto-fill into the game boards instantly! If you don't have 42 unique sight words, simply repeat some of the words on page 1. All words entered will auto-size to fit, so your words can be as long as you need. This game board comes in color and black and white.
This game plays just like the classic game of Connect 4. To play, partner up your students and give them one game board to share. The object of the game is to cover 4 circles in a row, horizontal or vertical. Students will take turns using a token to mark their place on any sight word on the board. Students can also use their turn to block their opponent from getting 4 circles in a row. Tip: have students read the word on the board before covering it. If using math facts, have them solve the math problem before covering it.
Since this game is editable, you can fill the game board with sight words, math facts, vocabulary words, phonics skills, or anything else you are studying! It's a no prep game that students can play again and again.
