Short Vowel Books - Set #2 - Short Vowel Readers - Emergent - eBooks for iPad

Thank you for considering my eBook Short Vowel Books (Individual Vowels - Set 2) for Emergent Readers. This set of five books (available in a single .epub file) is perfect for early readers who have a grasp of consonants and are learning to blend phonemes to make words. There is one book for each vowel. The stories and illustrations are engaging and based on a topic. Each of the books has five pages with one or two sentences per page.

The vocabulary in these books is primarily CVC words that use the target vowel, high frequency sight words (mostly Pre-Primer & Primer), a few number and color words and a few words with blends or consonant digraphs. Students can usually figure out the blends. The back page of each book has an alphabetized vocabulary list of the words that are used in that book. Download this eBook onto your tablet and get your emergent readers engaging with these stories today.

The five titles in this set are: Hats (short a), Hens (short e), Kids (short i), Frogs (short o), and Bugs (short u). All titles are included in a single .epub file. You get one eBook that contains the five titles. Individual books are separated by a blank page. Making these books available in a single file ensures that the cost to you is reasonable.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT DOWNLOADING YOUR FILE: If you do not have the free Apple iBooks app, you'll need to install it before downloading your book. Safari will open and begin downloading the ebook to your device. When the download is complete, you will get the option to 'Open in iBooks.' Tap this button once. Alternately, you may get a popup that asks if you want to download the file. If this happens, tap on "Download". You will then need to check for a little down arrow in a circle along the top bar, beside the web address field. Tap on the down arrow and the file name will appear. Tap on the file name and the file will then open in iBooks.
