Description

My Friend the Beast" is a short story that tells the tale of a young boy who befriends a fearsome beast. The boy lives in a village surrounded by a dense forest, and one day he stumbles upon a terrifying creature with sharp claws, long fangs, and a menacing growl.

Despite his initial fear, the boy finds himself drawn to the beast's gentle nature and begins to visit him regularly in the forest. The two develop a deep friendship, with the boy bringing food and stories to share with his new companion.

However, their bond is soon tested when the villagers become aware of the beast's presence and decide to hunt him down. The boy must then decide whether to betray his friend or risk everything to protect him.
