In this technology infused project, students will learn to use a variety of free, online tools to impress the Sharks with an amazing concept for the hottest new restaurant in town!

Students will engage in:

  • using keywords to create a unique and "catchy" name using an online business name generation tool.
  • creating a design concept to grab the Sharks imagination and spark emotion
  • creating a real floor plan that includes dining and sitting areas, a kitchen, bathroom, etc.
  • creating a unique menu to feature their amazing ideas for entrees, desserts, side-dishes and more!
  • creating a website that uses imagery to attract new customers, an online menu, contact information, etc.

The online tools featured in this activity are completely free, easy to use, and feature Google SSO! Your students will not have to create any unique usernames or passwords!

Over 10-pages of clear directions, guiding questions, links and suggestions. You can easily modify the tasks and expectations to fit your students' needs and abilities.

Easily allows for differentiation and extensions.

Students will explore digital design, CAD (Computer Aided Design), website creation, branding, marketing and more!
