Shark Tank Presentation Rubric and Product Creation Guide Economics Project
What educators are saying
Description
I took a look at a few different ways to have students in Economics, business, or English class present a Shark Tank style business proposal, plan, and pitch, and I created a nice middle ground for almost any class and grade level. My instructions include 40 points worth of development, planning, and creation of a marketing strategy and proposal.
UPDATED: Page added for students to score and give feedback, and play "as the sharks" during presentations. Increases fun and engagement and feedback! (page 3)
This activity includes a group option, a scoring rubric by points or rubric evaluation, questions that students can ask to play as sharks during the presentation, a guide to completing each aspect of the pitch, and a full list of requirements.
The planning will take about 2 hours, but you could shorten or change requirements as needed. This is a fun, engaging, and educational process that students will remember and talk about for a long time afterwards. This is a five page resource, but it is ready to print and handout, no prep!
