SHAPE SORTING ACTIVITY: This hands-on activity is a fun way to help your children recognize and sort shapes. These cute and colorful cards can be used as a whole class “circle time” activity or in small group instruction for children who need extra practice with their shapes. They can also be put in your math center for the children to work on individually.
This set includes 9 shape headings and 48 colored shape cards. The shapes included in this set are circle, square, triangle, rectangle, oval, diamond, octagon, trapezoid, and hexagon. UPDATE: I have now added a rhombus heading card for those teachers who use that term instead of diamond.
