What educators are saying

Great resource! Students were engaged and were challenged but were so proud of their finished product.

Description

This lesson pairs with the FREE POWERPOINT called FAMOUS MONSTER ART.

Using simple shapes, students will design and construct a 2-D monster with an emotion. Their monsters can be ferocious, happy, silly, annoyed or even confused!

The eye and mouth idea sheets are the key to helping students communicate a feeling. Once students know how to show expressions, the emotions they will be able to convey in their other art projects are endless!
