Description

Are you tired of drill and kill timed fact fluency worksheets? Make your fact fluency block fun and engaging by incorporating fact fluency games that have minimal prep and are easy to learn. Studies show that when playing an engaging game students are able to develop through the phases of mathematical reasoning rather than rote memorization.

These fact fluency game boards are meant to be used in a low prep ten minute practice block to master the given math facts. It can be used during a specific fact fluency block or as an easy fluency math workstation.

You will be able to access a colored or black and white copy of these boards. Print the boards and have the students use pencil or crayons to have it as a one time use. OR print and laminate to use dry erase markers for multiple uses as shown in the photo!

This game board will specifically practice the skills of ways to make five and ten.

Students will shake and spill five or ten two colored counters. They will place the counters on the mat by color and count to create their math sentence. Ex. counters landed with two red and three yellow would be 2+3=5. Then shake and repeat until the mat is full.

Print and have the students use pencils for one time use or laminate and use expo markers for multiple uses as a math workstation!
