Here's what teachers like you have to say about using these shades of meaning activities with their students:
⭐️ Catherin R. said, "This was by far my favorite resource for teaching this standard to my 5th graders. The students really enjoyed learning about shades of meaning and were super engaged."
⭐️ Dianna Z. said, "Wonderful resources for helping students understand and practice shades of meaning!! I can really see it inspiring them to keep their own shades of meaning journals and to use these new and old found words in their writing and speaking!"
⭐️ Kristen G. said, "I used this with my 5th grade Title 1 students. It helped them immensely with this standard."
⭐️ Lori P. said, "I teach ESL students who have limited vocabularies. This will help them learn more words. I also have students with larger vocabularies, but they usually use the low-level words they learned first when speaking and writing. I look forward to using this to help all of my students improve their understanding of words and improve their speaking, reading, and writing abilities."
⭐️ Beth T. said, "I am so excited to use these materials. I love and use the idea of words with connotative meanings, but never seem to have enough materials/ideas to instruct and creatively use."
