Sh- Beginning Diagraphs Light Table or Flashlight Popsicle Shaped Reading Cards

Use this set of 18 sh- beginning digraph cards for placing on your light table or using with flashlights as the students learn to read the words in Kindergarten or Grade 1. Students read the word and then self-check by placing the card on the light table or shining the flashlight behind the card to reveal the picture.

Includes the words: shoe, shower, shapes, shorts, sheep, shade, shell, shark, shed, shadow, ship, shop, shirt, shelf, shampoo, shovel, shin, shut.

Prepare:

Print the popsicle word cards onto cardstock and the object pictures on normal paper. Put glue all over the front of the object picture papers. Glue each object picture sheet and its corresponding popsicle word sheet together by placing the object pictures behind the words. Cut out each card first and then laminate the individual cards. Leave a slight edge around your laminate so it doesn’t separate. If there is an air pocket around the card, leave a larger laminate border.
