Sewing a Recorder Case

This lesson plan is created to allow students to create a case for a recorder using felt. A recorder is an instrument.

The lesson shows how to preplan a design, how to thread a needle, and how to create a basic and whip stitch. There are student project samples as well as tips and tricks that I use in my classroom for distributing materials and bringing in volunteers. There is a supply list as well as the suggested prep work before the lesson is brought to your students. Finally, and most important, there is 5 instructional videos included. These videos are an overhand shot of how to design, used the tools and sew to complete a recorder case.
