What educators are saying

This was a fun way for my students to practice learning numbers and recognizing which ones come before and after.
I have cut, laminated and put magnet tape on these to make they usable during our vertical activity time.

Description

Make math fun and engaging with our puzzle activity cards to help stduents with ordering and sequencing numbers in the range 1-100. You can use all the cards or take a selection - e.g. 1-10, 10-20 and 20-30 etc

The number sequences start from a variety of starting positions, so students learn to count from any point.

The games can be adjusted easily to play with a small group or an individual student.

You can choose to play this game with a focus on forward or backward counting by having students start from the head or tail.

Another option is to provide the cards in an open-ended play bin and let students freely make the snake puzzles, without using the game rules.

Included:

  • a snake sequencing mat (optional)
  • 119 snake puzzles (easy cut rectangles)
  • detailed game instructions
  • follow up worksheet
  • A cover page is included, to help you get your resources organized

Bonus Digital Activity

Included is a bonus digital activity that can be accessed using Easel by TPT. Use it as a math warm up, lesson introduction or a student assessment activity. Students will write, using the pen too, the numbers missing on each snake. 6 snakes are provided!
