September Writing or Research Topic Promethean Board Flipchart

Promethean flipchart (can be converted to smart board - you can google for directions on how to) with a nonfiction topic for each day of the month. Topics include items such as Marco Polo's birthday, the date Disney opened Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, the accidental discovery of penicillin, Google's launch date, Helen Keller's graduation from Radcliffe, the first computer bug, Geronimo, Lewis and Clark, Shel Silverstein, Sir Francis Drake, the Devil's Tower National Monument, the first alleged UFO abduction, the Tylenol recall, and much more. There are links to articles, pictures, and videos for most pages. About 4 questions are on each page so you can assign each of 4 groups a different question to research and then share results. On the first page there is a teacher note which gives many suggestions for how to use the pages.
