September 11th {9/11} Interactive Timeline Activity ~ Reading for Grades 4-8

This activity is meant to be an independent activity for students in grades 4-8. Lower level students may need some scaffolding.

I'm using it in my 6th grade classroom. First, I will use the timeline to go through and discuss with my students the events of September 11th. Then, they will complete this activity using the timeline. You might consider it a scavenger hunt of sorts, as students must interact with the timeline and information to find each text-based answer.

Note: This is for literal comprehension only.

Students will need a computer with Internet to access the site
