This product is made up of comprehensive unit covering self-awareness. Self-awareness is a student's ability to understand his/her emotions, thoughts, and feelings. Through self-awareness, students are able to identify their strengths and areas for growth. It also teaches students about growth mindset, trying new things, and perseverance. They also learn that feelings can affect behavior, and vice versa.

Taking 15-20 minutes a day to focus explicitly on SEL can lead to more intrinsically motivated, empathetic, and responsible students. Research has also shown that spending time explicitly teaching SEL can lead to higher test scores.
Important Note: Several of the lessons include links to YouTube videos that tie into the topic, so before purchasing be sure you are able to access YouTube at your school, and that you have a way to project these videos for students.
