This packet provided an ELA skill for each chapter. The skills were often revisited with each narrator, and provided a nice way to disengage from technology. Students were able to easily follow along with each narrator/chapter and also utilized this as a study guide for assessments.
I work with a homebound student and this was a very quick and engaging way to show learning along with reading the book.
Description
Students will enjoy reading the novel, Seedfolks, by Paul Fleischman. Here you will find a chapter-by-chapter standards-based notes packet that goes along with the novel for students to complete as they read and analyze the 13 character stories throughout the book. Topics on the note sheets include characterization, mood, tone, conflict, theme, irony, resolution, etc. (This notes packet is also sold in my "Seedfolks Novel Unit" which includes several other assignment in a culminating project.)
