Looking for a primary note taking lesson on first responders and military branches career research? This lesson focuses on the description and responsibilities of these careers. Students must identify the important words and phrases to include on these note taking sheets. Each child or partner group can be assigned different careers to research or each career can be studied in a whole group setting if preferred.
This lesson is perfect for patriotic remembrance days or military holidays. (9-11 September 11th, Veteran's Day, or Memorial Day) It can also be utilized in conjunction with natural disaster units or COVID response lessons.
This lesson has been updated for distance learning as it includes Google Slides files to use in conjunction with Google Classroom. Text boxes are provided for students to type their answers.
