Sea Animals vocabulary, spelling, and lettering handout activities

The sea animal vocabulary, spelling, and lettering activities include a set of printable activities and a similar set of Easel activities. The easel activities are interactive and provide some opportunities for formative assessments. I have tried to include activities with some differentiation. There are several templates where you can insert your own text to provide differentiation. You can replace some of the text in the Easel activities to mirror the ideas and concepts you want students to understand. 

I did this because as a teacher I appreciate that the activities are not static. I like the ability to modify some of the content to meet the needs of my particular students. You don’t need to modify or create your own activities but they are there if you feel the need to make some modifications.

The printable activities contain print practice sheets for each animal. Students get the opportunity to practice their handwriting and color one of the animals. There are also some print activities where the animals are already colored and ready for your color printer.

There are writing activity pages. The pages include rules and lines for students to describe the animals or write a story about each animal.

Additional activities include a word search, word jumble, and crossword puzzles.

I have included the word search and word jumble activities in Easel. These activities are different from those in the print version. The answer keys for each set, print, and Ease, are included.
