What educators are saying

My textbook does not provide enough activities in order to reinforce vocabulary and grammar concepts. This was a perfect activity to supplement the textbook.
This resource was given to my Spanish speaking EL students as a project idea at the end of our mystery whodunit book. They really did a great job with it.

Description

This project is an ideal summative assessment or mini-project in a Novice Spanish unit on describing other people. Students will produce a Wanted poster about a villainous character of their choice. They will demonstrate that they can communicate facts about other people by describing their villain in-depth on their wanted poster.

I’ve included instructions that you can give them to create the poster from scratch, and I’ve included a “Se Busca” template if you’d rather give them more guidance on how you’d like the poster to look. They will be graded on task completion and language usage on the provided single-point rubric, adapted from ACTFL Novice proficiency standards.

Included in this product are:

Page 3: Student instruction sheet

Page 4: Single-point rubric for grading purposes

Page 5: Optional poster template

If you're looking for a more in-depth summative assessment in a unit on describing other people, check out my Hispanic Celebrity Description PBL.
