SYNOPSES

"Cartier and Donnacona"
Famous French explorer, Jacques Cartier, lands on the shore of Stadacona, only to be greeted by the mighty but skeptical Chief Donnacona.

"The Father of New France"
Explorer Samuel de Champlain, eager to establish L’Habitation de Quebec – the first permanent settlement in New France – discovers that colonizing a new land requires help from the strangers who know it best.

"Thanadelthur"
After having escaped her Cree captors, a Dene woman is discovered by a British trading post and learns her service to them as a business asset might just earn her a safe passage home.

"The Seven Years War"
An Acadian family faces expulsion at the outset of the Seven Years War; a trio of soldiers led by General James Wolfe, prepare to march across the Plains of Abraham in an attempt to take over Quebec City, guarded by General Louis-Joseph de Montcalm.

"The American Revolution"
Feeling increased pressure from the Patriot crusade to break ties with the British monarchy, the Tulloch family faces the prospect that moving north to the Canadas may be a Loyalist family’s only chance for a safe and prosperous life.

"The War of 1812"
Born of the fear that American forces will soon mount a major attack on Upper Canada, General Isaac Brock conspires with Chief Tecumseh of the Indian Confederacy to strike first across the Detroit River, albeit with only a fraction of the number of troops of that of their enemy.
