What educators are saying

The students loved these little scenarios and really had a good understanding of variables when we were done
These were used with graduate students learning about variables. These were received well and the students liked them.

Description

Students are given 10 completely silly and fun science research scenarios and asked to identify the Independent Variable, Dependent Variable, and Controlled Variables. To help frame their way of thinking, they are also asked to write "If/Then" statements to help work out the intended cause and effect of each research scenario.
