Description

Quick and easy experiment to introduce or review the steps of the scientific method. In this two part lab activity, students investigate how many drops of water will fit on the surface of a penny. They then choose one variable to change and repeat the experiment and see how their changing variable affects their results. Covers the following steps of the scientific method: Asking a question, creating a hypothesis, performing an experiment and collecting data, analyzing data and drawing conclusions.
