This resource contains a student workbook, 13 pages, that will teach your students to know and love the scientific method. The introduction of the scientific method is done in story telling style. It's extremely interactive. There are questions and directions that have students underline, highlight, or box in information. Questions are both knowledge level and application. Later in the workbook there are two additional stories. There are also three labs included in the workbook: drops on a penny, where the green grass grows, and the gummy bear absorption lab. Each of the three labs focuses on a different part of the scientific method. All of the labs are cheap, easy to do, have a WOW! factor, and work well. Your students will go home RAVING about your science class. Two of the workbook pages focus on the difference between the control, independent variable, and dependent variable. Finally, there are two review pages.
