What educators are saying

My students love seeing this resource on our wall. It pairs perfectly with our LETRS training and UFLI resources.
This has been SUCH a helpful resource! Easy to print / laminate / cut and then set up. We refer to it ALL the time! Thanks!

    Description

Interested in a sound wall that's (relatively) quick and easy to assemble?

The mouth, the image and the letter(s) are together on a single card!

The full consonant sound collection, as well as the vowel valley, can be viewed in the preview.

Student personal versions are available in a one page format for the vowel valley and for the consonant sound collection.

Both a full color version and an ink-saving black and white version are included.

Please Note: The vast majority of sound placements remain consistent on sound walls developed for use with different programs.

Short u and /aw/ are an exception to this. Some programs have short u above /aw/ in the vowel valley, while others have short u below /aw/.

It appears that there may be a subtle difference in pronunciation among various regions. To accommodate this, options are included with short u both above and below /aw/.

I hope you find that this sound wall saves you time setting up the classroom and is also highly beneficial to your young learners!

Along with the sound wall, you will find a series of differentiated personal sound and word charts.

Little eyes can only see so far and not every child is in need of the same sound or word chart at the same time.

These differentiated personal sound and word charts make it easier to get just the right resources to students as they develop early literacy skills.

Perfect for use in writing folders, in writing centers, for home support and for warm-up routines.

    The Following Are Included:

    ★ Alphabet Chart with Images

    ★ Alphabet Chart with Variations of A, G, Q, and T

★ Alphabet Chart with the CVC or VC Word Below Each Image

    ★ Blank Alphabet Chart

    ★ Sound Chart: Level One

★ Sound Chart with Digraphs: Level One

    ★ Sound Chart: Level Two

★ Sound Chart with Digraphs: Level Two

★ Chart of Long Vowels, R-Controlled Vowels and Vowel Teams: Level One

★ Chart of Long Vowels, R-Controlled Vowels and Vowel Teams: Level Two

★ List of Fifty High Utility Words for Early Readers (Heart Words and Temporary Heart Words)

All charts in the personal word chart resource are offered in color as well as in an ink-saving black and white version.

Sincerely, Anne Gardner (National Board Certified in Literacy)
