Science Strand: Life Systems

Grade 2, 3 and 4 curriculum was examined in depth by strand. The strand was then broken down into big ideas that could be taught across grade 2, 3 and 4 (extra helpful if you are a 2/3 split or 3/4 split). Specific and overall expectations are broken down under each big idea. Suggested leading questions with possible answers (taken from curriculum mostly) are then laid out underneath that.

This document was created with another teacher. I was teaching a 2/3 split and she was teaching a 3/4 split. This allowed us to still team teach since all students were working towards the same big idea at the same time.
