Science Booklet BUNDLE

This bundle is a collection of FOUR science booklets, perfect for use as students readers. The booklets cover animal adaptations, the Solar System, light and states of matter.

Each booklet comes with it's own activity suggestions that include comprehension questions (literal, inferential & evaluative), Higher Order Thinking Strategies (HOTS), independent research suggestions and web-based learning opportunities.

You will receive:

1. Australian Animal Adaptations. This reader includes information and illustrations explaining structural and behavioural adaptations, and types of movement. The reader then specifically looks at the adaptations of the platypus, feathertail glider, koala and saltwater crocodile.

2. The Solar System. This reader includes information and illustrations explaining: the sun, planets, dwarf planets, moons, comets, asteroids, meteoroids, meteors, meteorites, famous astronomers and Australia’s contribution to space exploration.

3. Light. This reader includes information and illustrations explaining: properties of light, natural and artificial light, point and extended sources of light, reflection, refraction, absorption, recognising colour, shadows and transparent, translucent and opaque materials.

4. States of Matter. It includes information and illustrations explaining: the characteristics of solids, liquids and gases, changing states of matter, and the difference between chemical and physical changes.
