School Spelling Bee Words and Definitions

Are you in charge of your school's annual Spelling Bee? Does the thought of creating a word list frighten you? If so, then this item is for you!

This download contains nine practice round words and fifty-five other words for your Spelling Bee.  The words increase in difficulty as the bee continues. These words are a mixture of fourth through sixth grade level vocabulary. 

To run the spelling bee do the following: 

1. Say the word. 

2. Give the definition. 

3. Say the word a final time.  

An expanded form of each word is provided for easy marking as the speller pronounces each letter.
