3. A Fun Descriptive Writing Activity
Students secretly draw a monster and then follow the scaffolded instructions to write a descriptive paper about their monster. Then, display all of the monster drawings while students read their descriptions. If students included enough descriptive details, the class should easily be able to figure out which monster matches their description!
