Say What? Dinosaurs - Short Story Writing and Speech Bubbles

What would dinosaurs say with some speech bubbles?

These pictures are fun to use to get kids thinking and writing! You can purchase a few packs of speech bubble post it notes, or copy the ones provided! I print out each picture in color and then laminate them. This way you can reuse the pictures each year if you use the post its or tape the printable bubbles to the pictures. Students can also just make their own speech bubbles on any paper! We do this activity in pairs with kids sharing a picture. Start by adding the speech bubbles, then each student can write a short story about the picture and their speech bubbles. The stories look great when posted with the pictures on a bulletin board!
